What dental insurances do you accept?
We are currently in-network with most PPO insurance plans including Aetna, Ameritas, Anthem BCBS, Cigna, Delta Dental, GEHA, Guardian, Metlife, United Concordia, United Healthcare, The Standard, and Sunlife. Additionally, we accept Amerigroup Medicaid. At this time Amerigroup is the only type of Medicaid plan accepted at our office.
Are clear aligners as effective as braces?
Yes, for many cases, clear aligners are just as effective as traditional braces. They’re ideal for mild to moderate misalignments and are a more discreet and removable alternative to metal braces.
How long does orthodontic treatment usually take?
Treatment time varies based on the individual case. Most patients complete orthodontic treatment within 18 to 24 months. You’ll receive a more accurate estimate during your consultation with Dr. Moody.
Do you accept dental insurance for orthodontic treatment?
Yes, we accept most major dental insurance plans and will help you maximize your orthodontic benefits. We also offer flexible payment plans to make treatment affordable.
Do you accept Medicaid?
Yes, we accept Amerigroup Medicaid. If interested, the first step is a free consultation which includes the needed Medicaid records. Once records have been taken, it usually takes 1-2 weeks for Medicaid to provide us with an approval decision. If approved, treatment will be provided at no cost to the patient. At this time, Amerigroup is the only type of Medicaid plan accepted at our office.
Can I start treatment the same day as my consultation?
In many cases, treatment can begin on the same day as your consultation, especially for braces. We’ll review your records, finalize your plan, and begin your smile journey if you’re ready.
